Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Casablanca – Fes (295 km)

Depart from Casablanca and head to the imperial city of Fes. Discover Fes’s medina, one of the largest in the world, and visit key attractions like Al Quaraouiyine University and the tanneries. Stroll through the bustling souks before settling in for the night in Fes.

Day 2 Fes – Merzouga Desert (470 km)

After breakfast, leave Fes for Merzouga, passing through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifrane, and the cedar forests of Azrou. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and embark on a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Spend the night in a traditional Berber camp under the starry desert sky.

Day 3 Merzouga – Dades Valley (270 km)

Begin the day with a camel ride at sunrise, then head to the Todra Gorges, famous for their dramatic cliffs and deep valleys. Continue to the Dades Valley, a beautiful region known for its lush oases and unique rock formations. Overnight stay in Dades Valley.

Day 4 Dades Valley – Casablanca or Marrakech

After breakfast, embark on your return journey. You can choose to head back to Casablanca or continue to Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving at your chosen destination in the afternoon.

Yes, on Day 4 you can choose to be dropped off in either Marrakech or Casablanca. Just let us know your preference.

Is the desert camp private?

Yes, we provide private luxury tents in the desert camp with comfortable beds and ensuite bathroom facilities.

Is there a lot of driving?

Yes, this tour covers significant distances (Casablanca to Desert is far). Expect around 6-7 hours of driving on Day 2 and Day 4, with plenty of stops.

Are meals included?

Daily breakfasts are included. Dinners are included during the desert and Dades Valley stays. In Fes, only breakfast is included.
